The electric era has come, now the vehicle is moving on batteries, TESLA, MG, BMW, AUDI, MERCEDES, all are creating their brand in this segment, as TESLA has already, created a big footprint in electric vehicle and changed the face of transportation.
Still, the number of ICE engines are there in enormous number, people are still hesitating to buy electric vehicles, now in India the most emerging market for electric vehicles, Chinese companies are launching their electric scooter, by renaming their brand, but the quality of the product as not per Indian driving condition, and the range is also very less.
Indian manufacturer like Bajaj, Hero, Ather, TVS, are launching their scooters in the Indian market which are good in quality, with acceptable range, but the pricing is way too high. Bajaj Chetak, TVS icube and Ather are above, 100000 Rs, here the local manufacturer with more number of experience into electric scooters, HERO motocorp are offering 110KM of range with the product pricing of RS 69,000/- only, is a good deal for Indian, but the scooter performance is not up to mark.
The big 4 wheeler is also launching its vehicles in the market but due to the high price, the vehicle industry is not changing rapidly. and there is no infrastructure for charging vehicles for long-distance. Tesla is also not that much curious to put his foot in the Indian market,
hope soon the condition will be met and we be in the electric era of transportation.
